How do I change my PIN?
Access the library catalog and log into your account by clicking the [My Account] link at the top right of the page. Under the [Personal Information] tab,Click [Change Pin]. Fill in all the library fields and select the purple [Update] button.
Forgot Your PIN?
If you don’t know your PIN to log into your account, please call the library system during business hours to request your PIN. You will need to have your library card number when you call.
How do I place a hold?

You will need your library card number and PIN in order to place a hold.

Patrons may place a total of 7 holds from the library collection or 5 holds from the library electronic collection.

Access the library catalog and search for the item you want. If no copies are currently available, click on the [Place Hold] button near the left side of the screen. Fill in your library card number and PIN (if you are not already logged in).

Electronic titles are limited to one user at a time. If the e-book or downloadable audiobook title you want to use is checked out, you may place a hold on it by clicking the Place Hold link. When the title is returned, you will receive an email notifying you that it is available.

How do I get notified if I have a hold?
Patrons are notified by phone or email when an item on hold becomes available. Items will be held for five days. Phone notification includes messages left on answering machines or voice mail. If the book is not retrieved by the patron or if he/she cannot be notified, the hold is removed and the next patron waiting for the item will be contacted or the item is shelved.
How do I renew items?

You will need your library card number & PIN in order to renew items. DVDs, electronic books, & CD-ROMs do not renew. Items with holds will not renew.

Access the library catalog and select the [My Account] tab. Fill in your library card number and PIN (if you are not already logged in) Click on [Checkouts]. Select the item or items you would like to renew by clicking in the box to the left of the item (a check mark should appear in the box). You may also choose to select all items by choosing the [Select all] button. Once you have selected the item/s, click on the purple [Renew] button. The items will be listed with the new due date.

How do I get notified of an overdue item?
Patrons are notified by email or regular mail when an item is 15 days and 45 days overdue. After 15 days have passed from the date an item is due, a library generated overdue notice will be sent to the patron’s address on file. After 45 days have passed from the date an item is due, a bill will be sent to the patron’s address on file requesting immediate return of materials and payment of past due fines or payment of lost items. A copy of the Official Code of Georgia will be included with all bills.
