Season of Wonder at the Cartersville Public Library

December 2021

Presenting a season filled with live music, crafts, movies, and many more magical activities, all completely free. Bring the family and spend time in our winter wonderland of trees decorated by local schools.

Craft Stations Inside the Library

All month long, we will have craft stations throughout the library. Stop by each station to create something fun! Take-home kits will be available for those who do not want to craft at the library.

  • Cards of Light: Create a card for an elderly person in your community this holiday season! We will provide all the materials to make your card, and we will deliver the cards to local nursing homes and elder care communities in Bartow County December 20th.
  • Snowflakes: Follow the instructions to fold and cut your own snowflake. Write your name on the snowflake and leave it with us to decorate the library this month.
  • Coloring Pages: Use our crayons and pull up a chair to color a picture or take a page with you to color at home.
  • Yarn Star Ornament: Use a wooden star, yarn, twine, and beads to create a beautiful ornament. Hang it on your own tree or give your star as a gift!
