Just wanted to say that this library is my favorite place to read and relax. The library staff is always helpful and friendly. I feel the library serves this community well!
The library has been a quiet, safe, resourceful environment for my family and the families I meet here for mentoring, coaching lessons in academics and availability of resources ranging from computer, wifi, enrichment classes, multimedia tools, books, dvd’s and the educational resources for parents and families.
Audiobooks are a gift to me. A way to enjoy books in my car and home in spite of some physical limitations. And now that I’m in the library more I am taking advantage, as a senior, of the computer classes which I love!
I have been helped in so many ways through the Resource Center. The Reference Desk has helped me tremendously with copies and we used the public park passes. Thank you so much.
The Bartow County Library System is important to me because it provides a place where I can tutor individuals who need help learning to read. The BCLS provides a place for my family to socialize, study, and check out books to read. Finally, I love that the BCLS provides programs, free wifi and photocopy services.
I became a “stay at home” mother when my son was born. I began bringing him to Babytime at the library and socializing with other parents. My son grew to love reading and going to Storytime. When my daughter was born I started bringing her to storyime. I also learned about Kindermusik through the library. My children love to come to Storytime, Afternoon Adventures, Kids Cook and other events. The library has sparked an interest in music, science, history and so much more for my children. I have made so many connections with people and organizations. The librarians have always been helpful. They have seen my kids grow from babies to school age children!
I save a lot of money with ebooks on the Georgia Download Destination. Also watch for various programs and workshops I am interested in. Specifically genealogy.
The Yoga class is awesome!
This library is a comfortable and beautiful environment to read and study in. It offers many books I would likely never found or considered reading on my own. The librarys programs are also helpful, educational, and fun. The option to check out ebooks and borrow from other libraries makes even more books and audiobooks easily accessible.
I teach the AARP Safe Driving Class here at the library on the 4th Saturday of the month. It helps our older drivers, as well as, younger drivers save money and keep their driving skills updated with new laws etc. Thanks for letting me volunteer to teach in one of your class rooms to educate people in our community.
I have utilized the Cartersville Public Library off an on since childhood. The last five years it has seemed like a second home as I used it to complete my Masters Degree and start work on my Doctoral Degree. The facility has been a “blessing”!
I have attended a Medicare and Driver’s Education classes here. It is much closer to my home. Thanks you for providing these classes for Seniors.
